In Memory of Mrs. Vella Rosetta Watkins Styles May 13, 1926 - March 6, 2014 Bryson City, North Carolina Our precious mother, Vella Rosetta Watkins Styles, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 6, 2014. She was born May 13, 1926 in Bryson City, NC to the late Arthur and Cora Lane Watkins. Married to Reverend Kelley Styles (m. January 20, 1945) for 48 years, they raised their children in a loving home on Lands Creek. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, canning homegrown food and doing puzzles. Her joy came through all the people she knew personally and the ones in passing. She met no stranger and loved everyone far and near. Most importantly her life was centered around loving her Lord and Savior. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook, loving wife, loving mother, loving grandmother and great caregiver for 49 years for her dear son, Billy. She lived her life as a humble and virtuous woman.
