Obituary of Violet Paralee Morgan

Violet Stiles Morgan, 94, of the Silvermine Community went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in a Buncombe County health care facility. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Viddie Smith Stiles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Morgan; three children, George Edward, Button, and Brenda Morgan; one great grandson, Tommy Vess; three brothers; and four sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Glendale Vess (Kenneth), Viddie Vess (Allen) both of Old Fort, NC; three sons, Dean Morgan (Glestia) of Morganton, NC, Dennis Morgan (Muriel), and Allen Morgan (Cynthia) both of Bryson City; one sister, Izetta Carpenter; one brother, Vance Stiles; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at the Bryson City Church of God. Rev. Marty Pressley will officiate with burial in the Wesser Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm Monday at the church.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
