Kim, Crystal, Blake, Paige, Stahle and precious Emma....I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your father and grandfather. He become a part of our family February 13, 1971. He was a kind and gentle man and treated Charlie and I with respect, he never had a argument with a family member and willing to do whatever he could for the family. He was at your grandfathers/ greatgrandfather's bedside when he departed this earth. After Charlie's passing he provided much love, comfort and support to the family. As I was looking through a family album with tearful eyes I saw pictures of Noel with Kim and Crystal and his grandchildren over the years. He was so proud of all of you as you meant more to him than anything in the world. The last time I saw Noel he greeted me with a big smile and hug and asked how I was doing...that was Noel always thinking of others. Noel had struggled with his health for numerous years but he stayed positive and did not complain. On February 13th he left this world for a place free of pain, sorrow and suffering. He walked into heaven without a struggle into the presence of God and to his mother and father and brothers and sisters who had gone on before..what a wonderful family reunion that must have been. Cherish the many wonderful memories and may God's grace give you strength during this difficult time. "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. He will swallow up death in victory and wipe away all tears from off all faces." Matthew 5:4 and Isaiah 26:8. I love all of you!!!!!! Your grandmother and great-grandmother Kathleen Derrick

Dear Kim and Crystal, How sad we are to hear of Noel's passing. It seems like yesterday he was teaching us how to eat brown trout by peeling it from the bones in one piece. We haven 't eaten fish any other way since! He was always making us laugh with a good joke. We have always enjoyed the times we spent with the Jones and Derrick families. We know there will be a time of sadness at his passing, but please know there is joy in knowing he is with the Lord. Our love to all of you

Kim and Crystal, It really is hard to imagine Noel being gone. For so many years he was almost like a brother. The years we worked together at Enka, and then driving those trucks at Cannons. I hate to think of all the good cups of coffee I would have missed if not for Noel, and the first time in the truck, a trip to Youngstown, Ohio with Noel and Guy. What a ride. He was a very good friend and person. Much has been said about how things will be in Heaven, but after Noel gets to see Jesus and his family there, his best friend Eddid Hyatt will greet him with the keys to his old black Road Runner and a good cup of coffee. Bless you all.

God will definitely show you the way to smile again. Just remember all the good times you shared with your dad and all the love he gave you thought out the years.

We are praying for you both! Your dad was a very special man. I will never forget how he always welcomed us teenagers in your home. How he worried about us driving to the beach after graduation. He will not be forgotten! If there is anything we can do for either of you two, please let us know.
