Maidie Terry McBride, 89, of Bryson City, NC passed away on January 18, 2014. She was born in Tampa FL. She formerly resided in Land O' Lakes, FL., and attended Plant High School. She retired from WTVT Channel 13 in Tampa, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. McBride Jr., and a brother John C. Terry.
Maidie was survived by two sons Charles McBride III (Patricia) of Land O' Lakes/Lutz, FL, and Joseph McBride (Judy) of Waxhaw, NC; two daughters, Dorothy Raymond (Reginald) of Ridgeway, SC, and Linda McBride of Bryson City, NC; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister Winifred T. Hunter; one brother, Joseph L. Terry, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
