Linda Sue Laney Wilkinson, 65, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 4, 2014.
She was the daughter of Jurnada Laney Cochran of Bryson City and the late Gordon Lee Laney.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Lee Laney.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Heather Bryson Mallard of Vidalia, GA, April Thomas and husband Will of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, T.J. Mallard, Cody Mallard and Keith Thomas; sisters, Betty Simonds of Bryson City and Peggy Anderson of Greenville, SC; brothers, Russell Laney and wife Susie of Robbinsville, Raymond "Doc" Laney of Tuscaloosa, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
