Obituary of Hazel Marie Wilson

Hazel Cochran Wilson, 82, of the Alarka Community, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 25, 2013 in a Jackson County Health Care Facility. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine Jenkins Cochran. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bryson City. She was preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers. She is survived by one son, John Thomas Wilson of South Carolina; one step daughter, Nancy Berlin of Louisiana; one sister Beatrice Gibson of Bryson City; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hayesville Baptist Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Home.
