Obituary of Selma Jane Carver

Selma Fuller Carver, 66, of the Alarka Community, passed away, Monday November 25, 2013 in a Jackson County Health Care Facility. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Rosie Smith Fuller, and wife of the late Fred Carver. She was also preceded in death by a son Joe Haigler; one grandson Andrew Haigler; one brother Lloyd Fuller, and one sister Faye Fuller. She is survived by one son, John Haigler and wife Tracy of Bryson City; one daughter-in-law Heather Haigler; 9 grandchildren; three brothers, Steve Fuller and Elmer Fuller both of Bryson City, and Hayes Fuller of Morristown, TN; two sisters, Gwen Tipton of Morganton, GA, and Janet Murr of Brevard, NC. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Barker will officiate with burial in the Fred Cochran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
