Obituary of Dianne Mullinax

Dianne C. Mullinax, 60, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 25, 2013. A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of Walter Cowart of Bryson City and the late Eddie Shuler Cowart, and wife of the late Howard Dean Mullinax. In addition to her father, she is survived by three sons, Jeffery Johnson of Belmont, NC, Tommy Johnson of Gastonia, NC, and Neil Pate and wife Tracy of Belmont, NC; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Joanne Parton and husband Jack of Bryson City; a special friend Fred Cochran; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Percy Cunningham will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at 508 Princeton Rd.
