Frances Phillips Lackey, 77, of the Alarka Community, passed away, Monday, September 6th, 2010 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Nola Phillips. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 3 brothers, and one grandchild.
She is survived by her husband, James A Lackey, one daughter, Opal Loretta Pack of Casselberry, FLA, one step-son, Thomas Randall Bauers of Savonburg, KS, four grandchildren, Kristina Emberg of Providence, RI, Richard Black II of Riverside, CA, Jennifer Black and Michael Black both of Casselberry, FLA, one step granddaughter, Alisa Bauers of Savonburg, KS, three great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Ray Ball will officiate with burial at Round Top Cemetery.
The family will receive friend's from1 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
