Ronnie James Cutshaw, 69, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 28, 2010 in a Jackson County Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Swain County, he was the son of the late Jim and Mary Crain Cutshaw.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James (Bug) Wolfe.
He is survived by one daughter, Denene Wolfe; one son, Allen Cutshaw and wife Missy; mother of his children, Betty Cutshaw, all of Bryson City; two brothers, Donald and Dock; four sisters, Tootie, Mary Nell, Debra, and Karen; Papaw's fishing buddy, Daniel Bowers; longtime companion, Sue Conner and her children Paul, Linda, Lee, Jane; and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Deep Creek Baptist Church of which he was a member. Rev. Mike Cogdill will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Crisp Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the church 30 min. prior to the service.
