Obituary of Georgia Mae Rogers

Georgia Mae Moore Rogers, 82, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 27th, 2013 at her residence. A native of Williamsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late George and Effie Ann Howington Parker. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband William Cas Moore, Sr.; her sisters, Nannie Cox, Edna Anderson, Dessie Nuckles and brothers, Frank and William Parker. She is survived by her five children, Dora Mangum and George Elder of Bryson City, William Cas Morre Jr. and wife Janet of Bryson City, Faye Cody and husband Randy of Bryson City, Dorothy Eaden and husband Terry of Georgia, Daniel Moore and wife Elizabeth of Bryson City; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Creasman will officiate with burial in the Panther Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Home, and also from 12 until 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
