Obituary of Lucy Nelson

Lucy Plemmons Nelson, 92, died September 3, 2013 at Mountain View Manor. She was the wife of the late Roy Patrick Nelson. She is survived by one daughter Patricia Nelson Greene of Simpsonville, SC, and one son Roy Patrick Nelson, Jr. of Silverdale, Washington; one granddaughter Heidi Michelle Knach, and one great grandson Charlie Saran Knach both of Schenectady, NY. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother, Carrie Childers, Lucille Morgan, and Willard Plemmons. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel in Bryson City, NC with burial in Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM prior to the services Saturday.
