Obituary of Donald Lee Howard

Donald Lee Howard, 56, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 4, 2011. A native of Swain County, he was preceded in death by his parents Tinker and Ethel Howard; four sisters, Ellen, Pearl, Linda Sue, Tinker Sharon; Three Brothers, Dewayne, Sam, and Lloyd. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Howard; step-children, Shay Harrison and Dana (Derek) Raymond; step grandchildren, Katelyn, Madison; sisters, Retta Howard, Reva (James) Edwards of Bryson City; one brother, Wendell Howard of Cherokee; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Ed Kilgore and Paul Travis will officiate with burial in the Roundhill Cemetery.
