Obituary of Joe Haigler

Joe Haigler, 38, of the Alarka Community, passed away Thursday, June 13th, 2013 at his home. A native of Swain County, he was the son of Selma Fuller Carver of Bryson City and the late Fred Carver. He also was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Haigler. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Heather Haigler; Seven children, Samantha, Joseph, Ivy, Trevor, Dalton, Lillian, and Kenny all of Bryson City; One brother, John Haigler of Bryson City; Mother-in-law, Diane Carr of Whitter; Father-in-law, Ken Carr of Whitter. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Barker will officiate with burial in Fred Cochran Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
