Obituary of James Floyd Cunningham

James Floyd "Jim" Cunningham III passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Floyd Cunningham, Jr. and Beverly Dacus Cunningham and a daughter, Hannah Reagan Wike. He was born in Bryson City on July 25, 1957 and was raised in Tuckaseigee, NC. He attended Camp Lab School and Western Carolina University.
He had been employed with John R. Wallen Company as a Commercial Construction Supervisor and was a hard rock miner for many years. He loved camping, fishing and his horse, Scout.
He leaves behind many lifelong friends, a step-daughter, Susanna Amelia Segrist and his daughter Marley-Ann Cuningham.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to: Friends of the Smokies, PO Box 1660, Kodak Tennessee 37764 in memory of Jim.
