Obituary of Arley Sutton

Bryson City Dateline: Arley Sutton, 69, of the Needmore Community, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at his residence. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Adam and Alvarie Sutton. He also was preceded in death by his wife Dollie Sutton, and a brother Arnold Sutton. He is survived by three sons, John Sutton and wife Marsha of Bryson City, Ricky Sutton and wife Dewanda of Bryson City, and Stephen Sutton and wife Shermane of Cherokee; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 8 sisters, Luteen Parker of GA, Barbara Tabor of Bryson City, Maelee Cabe of Bryson City, Marie Camby of Bryson City, Maxine Greene of Whittier, Becky Marr of Bryson City, Shirley Byers of Statesville, NC, and Mildred Jones of Statesville, NC, and one brother Bobby Sutton of Statesville, NC. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Waldroup will officiate with burial in the Laurel Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
