HILDRED WRIGHT WOODARD, 78, formerly of Swain County went home to be with the Lord, Monday June 7, 2010 in Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Princie Styles Wright and wife of the late Robert Woodard. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gwendolyn Shell. Hildred had lived in Haywood County since 1954. She was a member of Canton Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by 2 Daughters- Carolyn Wilson and her husband David of Canton.

A son-in-law- Couney Shell of Cherokee
5 Grandchildren- Nichole and Charles Dennison, Joey and Jill Farmer, Eric and Christy Wilson, Katie Fields, and Richard Bradley
9 Great Grandchildren
2 Sisters- Betty Lou Wright of Almond and Edith Freeman and husband JC of Almond
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. The Revs. Terry Penland and Perry Hines will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home
