Pisgah Forest/Whittier: Ella Mae Passmore Anderson, 91, formerly of Swain County, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 30, 2010 in a Brevard Hospital. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Elisha and Fannie Kirkland Passmore. She was a member of Whittier Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Bynum (Bill) Anderson, Sr. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Childers and husband Clifford of Pisgah Forest, one son, Billy Anderson, Jr. and wife Gloria of Christiansburg, VA., three grandchildren, Krystal Howell of Bryson City, Tabatha Simon of Greenville, SC, and Bryan Anderson of Edge Water, MD; two great grandchildren, Carissa Howell and Julia Anderson; and two sisters, Maggie Rolls of Feldsmere, FLA, and Nancy Watson of Bryson City. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Clifford Willis and Eddie Stillwell will officiate with burial in the Holly Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. An online register is available at www.crispfuneralhome.org
