Dear Peggy,
Please share my condolences with the rest of your family. My memories of your Dad are vivid and valuable. Time spent him in the woods, along the trail, on the lake, and on the stream are among my most priceless memories. He lived long and well! Having lost both of my parents and both of Marjorie's as well gives be a basis to understand something of how you feel just now. Believe me when I tell you that the tears of today will become smiles in your heart as time performs its healing. For now, my prayers are with you and yours as you say goodbye to Ed.
