Obituary of Opal Crisp

Opal Walsh Crisp, 81, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord and on to see her beloved husband, Bill. A longtime resident of Swain County she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ola Walsh. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Crisp; two sisters, Margaret Payne, and Wanda Daniele, and two brothers, Joe Johnson, and Harold Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Hartwell and husband Robin of Asheville, NC; two sons, Billy Crisp and wife Natalie of Bryson City, Travis Crisp and wife Morgan of Clyde, NC; grandchildren, Chloe Crisp, Harvey Crisp, Haddi Crisp; siblings, Walter Walsh of Bryson City, Bill Johnson of Bryson City. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Her brother, Walter Walsh will officiate with burial at Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Billy and Travis Crisp, Harvey Crisp, Robin Hartwell, and Johnny and Ross Ensley.
