Obituary of James Jones

Bryson City Dateline: James "Jake" Jones, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2013. He was a "Jake" of all trades working in furniture,and appliance sales and service. He enjoyed riding his Harley, Camping on the river and fishing. He passed away at home. He is survived by parents Grady and Bobbie Jones of the Alarka Community. In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, Frank Jones and wife Rita, and two sisters, Myrtle Birchfield and husband Zeke and Rachael Jones all of Bryson City; Sierra Wiggins "Granddaughter"; a Special Friend, Earlene Wiggins of Bryson City; girlfriend Tanya Mobley and her daughter Haley, and several nieces. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Frady will officiate with burial in Brendle Hill Cemetery.
