Obituary of Vera Nell Wade

Vera Nell Wade, 57, of the Birdtown Community went to be with her maker on October 3, 2011.
Vera worked at Dora Reed as a teacher's aid. In October of 2006, she was told she needed a liver transplant which she received October 18, 2010. She was looking forward to getting better and going back to work.
Surviving are two daughters, Sally Rodgers of Cherokee, Julie Frady of Bryson City; three sons, Jason, Skyler, and Robert Beck Jr.; her husband, R.E. Beck; a sister, Alice Wade; and brother, Nathaniel Wade of Cherokee; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Rock Hill Baptist Church. Rev. James (Bo) Parris will officiate with burial in the Wade Family Cemetery.
The body will be placed in the church at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday by Crisp Funeral Home to await the hour of service.
