James McCracken (Jim) Ensley, 80, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Greenville, TN. a native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Dent and Nora McCracken Ensley. Jim was an over the road truck driver for 42 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Tommy, Bobby,and Dent, Jr. Ensley; and three sisters, Jessie Sue Ensley, Margaret Pedersen, and Georgia Belle Sawyer. He is survived by two sons, Marcus Moore and wife Dorothy of Greenville, TN, Joe Ensley of Greenville, TN; one daughter, Lenora Arleo of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Bryan and Anthony Moore and Eric Ensley; three great grandchildren, Tai, Isabelle, and Ethan Moore; one brother, Charles R. (Dick) Enlsey and wife DeAnne of Bryson City; 12 nephews; and seven nieces. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bryson City First Baptist Church of which he was a member. Dr. John Tagliarini will officiate with burial in the Deep Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
