Ronnie Doyle Shepard, 67 of Bryson City, NC unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024. He was born on March 7, 1957 in Bakersfield, CA to the late Lonnie and Ruth Shepard. His family moved to Grants Pass, OR until he moved across the country to Bryson City, NC where he married and started a family. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Jean Hall Shepard, Son Donnie Shepard, Daughters Laura Shepard, Jessica Ball (James “Dee” Ball), Hollie Hooper (Mike Hooper), Robin Jones (John Jones), Grandsons Trevor, Landon, and Hayden Jones, Granddaughters Milla Shepard, Peyton and Reagan Hooper. He also leaves behind his siblings in OR. Dan (Nina) Shepard, Evelyn Butts, Bonnie (Bob) Mcfarland, Bennie (Brandi) Shepard, and Rex Shepard. Ron, known to some as Spider, was a fun, loving, hardworking man. Always laughing and joking, just an ol hippie.To all who knew him, they loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 26th @ 2:00 at Watershed Resort. 20 W Watershed Rd, Bryson City, NC 28713.
