Obituary of Brenda Fisher

Brenda Franks Fisher, 80, met her Lord and Savior Jesus on September 15, 2024. A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Brenda spent most of her life living in Bryson City, NC. She loved serving the Lord, and serving her family. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Harley Franks and Olive DeHart Franks; two brothers, Bud Franks and Bill Franks; and her son David Fisher. Her legacy lives on in her daughter Pat (John) Herrin, and son Jamie (Rita) Fisher, as well as her grandchildren Justin (Karla) Fisher, Sarah (Rich) McBride, John (Danie) Herrin, Robert (Barbara) Herrin, Isaac (Hannah) Herrin, Daniel (Jillian) Fisher, April (Tyler) Blanton, Megan Esposito, Deanna Fisher, Kristin (Russell) Varner, Rebecca (Caleb) Seymour, David Clayton Fisher, Nathan Fisher, and Kevin Fisher. Also her sister Jeannie Hinz of Blytheville, Arkansas, and niece Sherry Franks. Brenda loved her grandchildren and her many great grandchildren with her whole heart. Her family truly had her heart, but anyone in the community who met her knew that she loved and gave without hesitation. Brenda was a devoted member of Cornerstone Wesleyan Church since the early 1970’s and lived in the Franklin Grove Community. She will forever be remembered and missed by her sweet spirit, her unwavering love for everyone around her, and her devotion to the Lord. Pallbearers will be Trent Franks, Ian McBride, Nolan Fisher, Marcus Fisher, Shane Stoner, and Trenton Herrin. Lakeland Fisher will be an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20 from 12-2 PM at Crisp Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 20 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev Paul Sale and Pastor Brian Schuler will be officiating.
