You don't know me. I am a friend of your mom's from high school days. I was so sorry to hear about your sweet Bray. The loss of a child is devastating. I have personal experience with this as I lost my son when he was 21 to cancer. The pain threatens to swallow you whole. I will tell you that it does get better. I pray that you guys find rest and peace for your souls.

You are strong and resilient like your Mom and have so many coming along beside you in prayer. You are loved, sweetheart.

I was so very sorry to hear of Bray’s passing. I cannot imagine the feelings of loss and sorrow you must have. Please know that your family Is in my prayers. I pray that God will bind up your heart with the healing salve of His love. May you feel Christ’s loving arms encircling you when you don’t think you can make it another minute. I pray that you will remember that, even though he is not here, his spirit still lives. God and your ancestors are watching over him, loving him, and your family. Even though I never knew Bray, I could feel what he meant to the family. He was hope. He was purpose. He was light in life, laughter and love. Even in his absence, he remains all of those things. We no longer get to see him with our eyes, but we feel him with our hearts. Though our hands are empty, we still feel him. His impact will never be erased. Chrissy and Brett, my heart extends to you. You are loved and held.

Dearest Grandson - you will forever live on in my heart .
While all of us are devastated we know that you are in the celestial kingdom of heaven and there are many, many family members that are with you.
i delighted in hearing you anytime I was on the phone with your Mom. The week that your Great-Grandma Pat and I spent with you not long after you were born we hold in our hearts and those memories help to sustain us as we all reluctantly move through this grieving process.
Those of us who are left behind must move forward and endure to the end making the best decisions we can and knowing with a certainty that we will see you again.
Your Great-Grandma Pat, my Mother, is also heartbroken. It was such a privilege that she was able to hold you close and to spend a week getting to know you late last summer.
Alma 40:23 says "The soul shall be restored to the body, and the body to the soul; yea, and every limb and joint shall be restored to its body; yea, even a hair of the head shall not be lost; but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame."
You brought so much light in the 12 months that you were loaned to us. Your smile was infectious and you are so loved. As President Russell M Nelson has said "death is a gateway to immortality and eternal life."
Those of us left behind can take comfort in Psalms 23:
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
You are loved, you are absent from your body but very much alive in the spirit realm, and you are perfect in every way. I can feel your sweet spirit and know that you are alright.
May God be with us all until we meet again. I love you sweet boy - Grandma
