Obituary of Melody Ann Parris

Melody Ann Parris, 51, of Bryson City passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. She was the daughter of Harold (Judy) Parris and Linda Webster Parris.
She attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Gladys Parris and Frank Webster and Delphia Hyde; and her sister, Misty Dawn Sutton.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three children, Myron Henry Keith Parris (Melissa), Misty Dawn LeAnne Woodard (Mikey), Timothy Michael Joseph Woodard (Chasidy); bonus daughters; grandchildren, Camdyn, Teagan, Harold Cayde, Annabelle, Olivia, Hazel Dawn, Paizleigh Ann, Emma Reese; three sisters, Mechelle Warren (Bo), Miranda Deakin (Jason), Melinda Pardue (Ryan); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
