Obituary of Harvey Boyd Chekelelee

Harvey Boyd Chekelelee, 48, of Sylva went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 6, 2013 in a Swain County hospital surrounded by all his loved ones. A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Boyd and Edna Wachacha Chekelelee. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Robbinsville. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Reed and McKinnley Reed Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ella Arch Chekelelee; one daughter, Taryn Kelly Jackson of Robbinsville; three sons, Blake and Blaze Jackson of Robbinsville, Stuart Jackson of Robbinsville; two brothers, Jimmy and Tommy Chekelelee of Robbinsville; and three sisters, Rosie Rodriquez of Murphy, Louise Reed and Carolyn Chekelelee of Robbinsville. Memorial services and visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Crisp Funeral Home in Bryson City and from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Robbinsville. Rev.
