Mildred Wood Tadlock, 81, of Whittier went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 8, 2024. A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bessie Brown Wood and wife of the late Robert Boyd Tadlock.
She was a member of Whittier Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Wood.
She is survived by four children, Robert Kent Tadlock, Kristie Noble, Stephanie Bales, and Shea Tadlock; 5 grandchildren, Bradley Noble, Ethan Bales, Bria Noble, Erin Bales Johnson, Brady Noble; three great grandsons, Maddix Postoak, Chandler Johnson, Colin Bales; sister-in-law, Betty Wood; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Whittier Church of God. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the church.
