Carolyn Jeanette Shuler Jones, 64, of Whittier passed away June 3, 2024, in Charlotte NC. She was born February 20, 1960, to the late Daniel and Shirley Broom Shuler. Jeanette could always be found by the window waiting for her grandbabies to arrive. Her grandchildren were truly the Joy of her life. Jeanette loved to crack a joke and make those around her laugh until they were in tears. She was a fun, goofy, intelligent, and an incredibly strong woman. She devoted herself to being the very best wife, mother, mother-in-law, nia, and nana she could be. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter Heather Lavone Jones and a brother Andy Shuler of Sylva. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Casey Lynn Jones; a daughter, Jessica Deitz (Jared); three grandchildren Logan, Trace, and Baylee Dietz; she is also survived by a sister Sharon Keefer (Junior); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 8, 2024, at Wilmot Independent Missionary Baptist Church at 2pm, with the Pastor Austin Frady and Rev. Larry Nations officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the services at the Nations Creek Cemetery.
