Leona Boston Spears, 72, of Whittier, NC went home to be with the Lord Monday April 29, 2024. A native of Robbinsville, NC and longtime resident of Whittier NC she was the daughter of the late Troy and Nettie McLean Boston. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant son Troy Jenkins.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years Troy Spears; children, Ted Wayne Jenkins Jr. and wife Hannah, Ted ChristopherLee Jenkins and Lisa, Harold Tipton Jr. and wife Tracy; several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren; Brothers, Harold, Lee, and James, sisters, Francis, Patricia, Geneva, her stepmother Maxine Boston, and her stepdaughters, Lora, Karen.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday at Crisp Funeral Home.
