Obituary of Easter Herron

Bryson City Dateline: Easter Gunter Herron, of the Alarka Community passed away peacefully Sunday, December 30th, 2012 at Mountain View Nursing Facility. Easter was the daughter of Frank and Amanda Gunter of the Alarka Community. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Calvin Herron, and six brothers Wesley, Goldman, Neaver, Deaver, Gordan, and Lester Gunter. Easter was a loving daughter, wife, mother and aunt. She is survived by her daughter Lola Herron of Friendswood TX, and two sisters Nora Greene and Donna Bowers both of Bryson City. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 4th at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Max Cochran will officiate with burial in the Fred Cochran Cemetery.
