Obituary of Louise Thomas

Carol Louise Thomas “Louise” (83) went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 21, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Born October 1, 1940, to the late Carl and Carrie Gibson Moore, Louise was loved by all who knew her. She was a nurse, and her caring ways will be remembered by everyone she ever took care of. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her late husband, Harrison Thomas, two sisters, Dwain Moore, and Eddies Jean Moore; and a niece, Kennedy Moore. She is survived by her sisters: Barbara Thurman of Bryson City, NC, & Apphia Grier of Jonesboro, GA; two nephews: William Charles Moore (Stephanie) of Franklin NC, and Demetrius Grier of Jonesboro GA; a niece, Kindello Raven Moore of Asheville, NC; a brother-in-law Herman Thomas, and a host of other relatives and friends... Louise will be greatly missed by all her relatives and friends. A beautiful angel has now earned her wings and flown home to be with her Lord. Although she is gone, we will always hold her dear in our hearts. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home at 12:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the service and Burial will follow at Swain Memorial Park. Funeral Services will be officiated by Rev. Jean Hall, pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church in Bryson City, NC. Rev. Joe Nathan and Rev. Paul Sale of Cornerstone Wesleyan Church of Bryson City, NC will assist.
