Mary E. DeHart, 67, of the Almond Community went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 24, 2023.
A native of Oregon, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Clara Englebrecht.
She had a very kind, giving heart, she loved children, animals, and art was her heart. Her family was her world.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Kit Arno.
Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years, Kit DeHart; children, Amy Hampton, Mary Kit DeHart, Claire DeHart; grandchildren, Adrian Hampton, Matthew Garrett, David Miller; and her special uncle, John Englebrecht.
The family will receive friends and family at the residence, 3650 Highway 28 N. Almond, NC 28702 from 3 to 5 pm Thursday.
