Barbara Anne Mills, 58, of the Deep Creek Community went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 25, 2012 in a Swain County Hospital. A native of New Jersey and longtime resident of Florida, she had lived in Swain County since 1997. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Irene Benedick.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Calvin Mills; two daughters, Erin Brown and husband Rob of Port St. Lucie, FL, Cali Mills of Bryson City; one grandchild, Noah Brown; three sisters, Mary Perry of Vero Beach, FL, Cindy Rodriguez of Vero Beach, FL, Lisa Garcia of New Jersey.
Memorial services will be held in Florida at a later date.
Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
