Obituary of Andrew Ivor Parris

Andrew Ivor Parris, 38, of the Alarka Community passed away Friday, December 14, 2012. A native of Swain County, he was the son of Ivor and Linda Revis Parris of Bryson City. Andrew was an Insurance Agent for Farm Bureau for the past 5 years. He was a member of Bryson City First Baptist Church and a member of The Gideons International. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Samantha McFalls Parris; three children, Rory, Gage, and Monroe all of the home; two brothers, Michael Allen Parris and Ronald Lane Parris, both of Bryson City; maternal grandmother, Ollie Duvall Revis of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. John Tagliarini will officiate with burial in Mason Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
