Obituary of Bo Anthony

“Bo” Carroll Denver Anthony Jr., 59, of Oxford Alabama, passed away on August 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife, family, and friends. Born September 16, 1963, to the late Carroll Denver Anthony Sr. and Gradie Louise Anthony in Jackson County.
Bo was an avid fisherman, hounds’ man, and deer hunter. He enjoyed watching Alabama Football and yelling at the TV! He had a passion for his dogs and loved them dearly. He had a great sense of humor and would keep everyone laughing. His wife stated that he was the perfect gentleman and could light up any room he entered. He worked at Webb Concrete for nine years and enjoyed it very much.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Evelyn Blankenship; a daughter, Samantha Boykin.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Anthony; sister, Cindy Irwin (Rick); brother, Martin Anthony (Becky); sister, Clara (Crickett) Holcombe (Bryan); brother, Tony (Turk) Anthony (Amy); Nieces, Deanna Crew, Shea Morgan, Christine Herron, Reba Herron, Megan Handley, Cameron and Breanna Anthony, Brittany Murry (Justin), and Courtney Bible; nephews, Michael Anthony and James Anthony; step son, Cody Edwards; brother in laws, Scott Silvers (Shannon) and Mark Silvers (Heather); and special fur baby, Justice.
Funeral Services will be held September 1, 2023, at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home, at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the Blankenship Family Cemetery (Whittier).
