I taught at Lincoln College when Connie was chair. I'll always remember her jet black hair and that great smile! She was a wonderful woman, and even after all these years, I remember her as if it were yesterday. Her energy filled any room she entered. From the looks of it, she went on to live a remarkably full and fulfilling life. Please accept my condolences at the loss of this firecracker of a woman.

I just found out about Connie's passing. Please accept my condolences. I worked with Connie at Lincoln College "back in the day" and she was a great friend. In fact, Connie was my first department chairperson. She was an excellent administrator. But, more importantly Connie was a fine theatre director, one of the best I ever worked with. Working with and for Connie were the best of times. I am sorry for your loss.

Connie was just a stellar person, very giving and always looking to make a difference in a person's life. To that end, she lifted up people in the choir with her talents. When encouraged to join us in Therapy Dog work, she and her beloved Golden made a huge difference in the lives of those she touched. She and Maya spent endless hours at a Children's Hospital and they became real stars in those children's lives. She also had the idea to speak to the School Board about the Read with a Dog progam in the public schools, and helped start a program in Swain West Elementary. She will certainly be remembered.
