To all the children we surely are praying that you get comfort from many memories of your mom. They’re a great memories that we have cherished and learned through the years. I really appreciate how you never left you mom alone through her stay at the rest home. Time is the best gift we can give. Thank ye all.

My dearest aunt Rachel you have had a full life and you were always one of those aunts that whenever we came over to visit you always left with something. Either a flower or tomatoes. In which I remember when mom bought us up there to visit after dad (Willis) had passed away that we first met your grandson Pete and me, Jill, and Paula had the biggest tomato fight ever. You just laughed and I thought you were going to be mad because of us destroying your tomatoes. But I’m glad you were able to just laugh at us having fun. I truly will keep you in my memories always. Love you.

Granny Smith is how I knew you. I was so lucky. You were uniquely you. Quiet but strong. Wise with the years. Young at heart for Pap Smith. There are two lessons I learned from you: 1- there is nothing new under the Sun; and
2- people do exactly what they want to do
These lessons I treasure. You will be remembered and loved.
