Jackie Josephine Cline Woodard, 74, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late George and Pearl Wiggins Cline. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Woodard, and siblings, JD Cline, Gladys Washburn, and Annie McFalls.
Jackie is survived by, James Woodard Sr.; three children, Don Woodard West and wife Gina; James Woodard Jr. and wife Ashley, and Doug Woodard and wife Gina; grandchildren, Gaige Woodard, Gaston Woodard, Grady Woodard, Gunnar Woodard, Sesalee Woodard, Doug Woodard, Nerissa Woodard, Taylor Woodard, Ryan Woodard West, Brandy Woodard West, Billie Woodard West, and Tanner Wiggins; several great grandchildren, two sisters, Nellie Thomas, and Georgia Bell Hutchins; special friend, Mathew Crouch, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday April 29, 2023 at Thomas Chapel Cemetery. Revs. Eddie Taylor and Ernie Cable will officiate.
Pallbearers will be James Woodard Jr., Doug Woodard, Don Woodard, Burl Woodard, Mathew Crouch, and Thomas Simonds.
