Obituary of Frances Walkingstick

Frances M. Catt Walkingstick, 71, of the Yellowhill Community went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 26, 2012 at her residence. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Dave and Cornelia George Catt. She was preceded in death by a son, Duane E. Walkingstick; a brother, David Johnson Catt; and a grandchild, LeShea Littlejohn.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Walkingstick of Cherokee, Marian Littlejohn of Cherokee; five grandchildren, Michael Walkingstick, Tyler Washington, Merissa Walkingstick, Duane Walkingstick, Jr., Eric Jimenez; three great grandchildren; one sister, Bootie Catt of Cisco, TX; two nephews; and one niece.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Aquoni Baptist Chapel.
Burial will be in the Birdtown Cemetery.
The body will be taken to the church at 4:00 p.m. Thursday to await the hour of service.
