Obituary of Allen Winchester

Allen Winchester, 70, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord March 18, 2023.
A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Jack and Wanda Clark Winchester.
He was a member of Deep Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Allen was preceded in death by his son, Jordan Winchester and brother, Tommy Winchester.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kay Winchester; four step-sons, Eric Langseth, Chris Parris, Jason and Josh Huskey; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; aunt, Mary Winchester; and a large family of Payne in-laws.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Deep Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Cogdill will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Thursday at the church.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Nick Davidson, Trae Bradley, Kaleb, Kameron, Kaden, and Jordan Huskey.
Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the family.
