Obituary of Sherman Ogle

Bryson City Dateline: Sherman (Buddy) Ogle, 64, of the Lands Creek Community, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 10th, 2012 in a Buncombe County Hospital. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Lillie Cunningham Ogle. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ann Ogle; one son, Scott Ogle and Fiancée Kenya of Canton; two daughters, Tina Ogle Watkins and husband Kevin of Whitley City, KY, and Debbie Stanberry Watkins and husband Larry of Bryson City; one brother Maxie Ogle of Bryson City; one sister, Barbara Truesdale of Cherokee; 8 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Randall Watkins will officiate with burial in the Watkins Cemetery.
