It was an honor and a pleasure to know Melinda through our clinic at Swain Middle School. She always had a positive attitude no matter what was going on in her life. She was always thoughtful, kind, generous, patient, and friendly. I will miss her sense of humor and bright smile. She was a very proud mother and a very caring nurse. My thoughts are with you all in this hard time. She will be greatly missed. -Kim Neiheisel

I am so sorry to hear about Melinda. Caleb, Jacob and Jonah Bear you 3 was the apple in your momma's eye. She was so proud of you boys. She undoubtedly loved you all beyond measures. Melinda was a BEAUTIFUL soul inside and out. She was not only my friend she was a teacher, councilor, amazingly awesome nurse that didn't care to share her knowledge to help other and an encourager to do what you love by doing it your best. (even if it was going outside your box). I could say many things about you friend. Thank you for your friendship and love. Go Rest High on that Mountain Karo I love you I'll see you in heaven my friend.

Melinda was a spectacular, beautiful person inside and out. I loved getting to know her, working with her but also becoming a friend and having her as a friend. She was always talking about her boys and was so proud of ya'll. She will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Roz
