Obituary of Stetson Hershel Strickland

Stetson Hershel Strickland, 6, of Whittier passed away November 26, 2022, in Lenoir County NC. Stetson was born December 19, 2015, he was the son of Whitney Gibson and Glenn Strickland. Stetson loved his family, and his dog Yogi. He enjoyed playing outside and playing video games. He was the DJ in the family and truly loved listening to music. He couldn’t wait for the school year to start he loved being in the classroom and truly enjoyed his time at school. He was preceded in death by his brother Gabriel Strickland. He is Survived by his mother, Whitney Gibson; father, Glenn Strickland; brothers, Ty Gibson, and Tate Strickland; a sister Paisley Strickland; His Grandparents: Kim Cline, Chris Potts, and Michelle Strickland; Great-grandparents Joyce and Benny Gibson; Special Uncles Darius Gibson and KC. Potts. The family would like to especially thank the 1st Grade Team at East Elementary, Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Harrison, Amanda Sutton, and Donita Guest, and Crisp Funeral Home for the care and compassion received during this time. A Memorial Service will be held December 11, 2022, at East Elementary at 2:00pm
