Obituary of Connie Elaine Blanton

Connie K. Blanton, of the Greasy Branch community passed away December 6, 2022, at her home. Connie was born in Asheville in 1954 to the late Walter Eugene and Lilian McIntosh King.
Connie and her husband moved to Swain County approximately 25 years ago and owned and operated Greasy Branch Marina. She was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. Connie enjoyed thrift shopping and hanging out with friends and family at the lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Blanton
She is survived by her son, Todd Blanton (Karen), and grandson Brody Blanton of Ellenboro NC. Brother George King of Asheville NC, and Sister Diane Carnes also of Asheville NC.
A Celebration of life will be held by the family later.
