Lois Christine Queen, 92, of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2022 after a long illness.
A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Thomas A. Kuykendall and Bonnie Kuykendall (Plemmons). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herschell D. Queen Sr. and a son Albert K. Queen Sr.
Lois is survived by her three other children, Katre Farmer (Dorvan), Althea Butler and Herschell Dale Queen Jr. (Brenda). She has several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Lois was an avid gardener and loved her beautiful flowers. Now she is walking the streets of gold and viewing her Lord and Saviors masterpiece. She was a member of the Nantahala Baptist Church on Wesser Creek. In Robbinsville, she attended Sweetgum Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held August 7, 2022 at Crisp Funeral Home, Bryson City, NC. Viewing will be at 1:00 pm prior to the service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Valleytown Cemetery in Andrews, NC.
