Mary Louise Kirkland, age 54, passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, June 26th,2022. Mary was born on January 1st, 1968, to her late mother, Dolly Marie Kirkland. She was a kind, caring, loving, feisty, and compassionate woman. Friends and family were the most important thing to her. She always kept a box full of goodies on her counter for everyone who visited, but especially for the kids. Gummies, crackers, chips, and the best snack cakes you could find. She would do anything to put a smile on your face and she loved all the children so deeply. She loved camping, fishing, and spending time outside. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a great friend to many, and she created so many lifelong memories with the people she loved. Although she was unable to have any children of her own, she was a momma and nanny by choice. Her smile and laugh would light up any room she entered. She was loved and adored by everyone she met.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Dolly Kirkland, 1 sister, Rosemarie Harris and 2 brothers, General Kirkland and Shorty (Johnboy) Kirkland.
She is survived by 1 sister, Donna Hardison, Daughters Saisha McCullough and Lavina Alvis. Grandchildren, Katalyn McCullough, Angelina Alvis, and Eli Alvis. Also, by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
