Obituary of Drama Collins Watkins

Drama Collins Watkins, 74, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at home after a long illness. She was born January 18, 1948 to John Henry Collins and Chinara Millsaps. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; one brother and two grandsons and mother and father-in-law. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Chester Watkins; sister, Faye Watson of Wahalla, SC; one biological daughter, Diane Watkins of Bryson City; and three daughters she chose by the love in her heart, Christina Parris (Virgil), Cheyanna Ward (Joe) all of Bryson City and Kate Allen (Matthew) of Waynesville, NC; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. There will be a graveside service on Friday February 25, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Watkins Cemetery. Special thanks to Harris Hospice – Cynde, Arlene and the rest of their staff. Those who knew her loved her. She was a special lady and will be greatly missed. Especially by her family and her animals who loved her deeply. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Harris Hospice.
