Obituary of Marie Pitts

Marie Pitts, 83, of Whittier passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021. She was born into the home of Victor and Beulah Gasaway years ago to be their youngest child. God had already given them ten other children who were her beloved brothers and sisters. They were Gradie, Raymond, Maude, Lyman, Lewis, Ethel, Frank, Paul, Ray and Pearl. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. A. W. Pitts, oldest daughter, Donna Marie Stephens and grandson, Adam Woodard. She leaves behind her most prized possessions in this world, her children, Dwayne, Mike (Dee), Angela (Mike), Chris (Margaret); five grandchildren Brandon, Joshua (Tabitha) Jana (Jeff), Victor, Caleb; three great grandchildren, Gage, Jasmine and Caleb. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at Union Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Shane Silvers officiating. Instead of flowers for her grave, give a flower to someone special that is in your life as a remembrance to Marie.
